~ Redefining the Red Goddess ~

On the 14th of February 2026, Lady Saturnia crosses the threshold of the Silver Wheel, entering Aries for the first time since 1996.

She will conjoin with Neptunia, Mer-Goddess of the vast cosmic ocean on the 20th of February in what Priestess Astrologers call a Great Conjunction. This particular conjunction, at the 0-degree point of Aries has not been seen since Neolithic times.

This is a once in an Aeon collective ‘seed point.’ The effects of this alignment will ripple out for many generations to come. In ancient times, Star Priestesses would have gathered on the Dragon Lines amongst the Stone Temples to hold ritual to direct the flow of cosmic energy for the benefit of the communities. The Planetary Goddesses would have been invoked in their highest aspects, to bless the people and honour the land.

In the times we are living in currently, I believe it is Priestess work to reclaim these practices. The spirit of Aries, in its most positive form is much needed within the collective at this point in time.

Aries is a sign that is often met with fear and judgement. As a woman with an Aries Sun and Mercuria in my 1st house and a strong Scorpio/Mars element to my own natal chart, I am often met with horrified gasps when I tell people my sign. I know this is an experience many Arian type women share.

I feel this is because of the deep collective wounding we all subconsciously carry from the Aeon of Aries. The age of Aries was the age of the Fall of the Temples. During this period, the Matriarchal Aeon of Venusian Taurus, was replaced by Patriarchal, Masculine Aries. It was a  time when Priestesses authority was stripped, blood was shed and sexuality was desecrated. Our places of Goddess worship were burnt down and male deities were installed in Her place. The Greeks, the Romans, then the christians did their best to eradicate Her.

It no surprise we have a complex relationship with this war-like Archetype, as we have only ever seen the shadow face expressed. Yet the suppression of the Aries energy has also left us disconnected from our own primal power. We are born into a culture that tells us we are unfeminine or unattractive if we display any type of assertion or aggression.

Girls are raiseed to be pretty and passive, forgetting that in pre patriarchal times we were just as likely to be on the battlefields as the men. With the rise of the “trad wife” influencers and “polarity” teachings in current times, we are once again being manipulated into a submissive role.

If we wish to see change in the world, we must allow ourselves to attune to the frequency of the Feminine Face of Aries once more.

We must allow ourselves to invoke the Spirit of the Warrioress, the defender of the innocent. Aries is willing to die to protect what it holds dear.

We must call on the Ancestral Goddesses ~ Boudicca, Andraste, Morrighan to enflame us with the courage to speak up and say no more.

We must call to Sekhmet, and Kali and Durga to burn the old systems to the ground.

We call to the Goddess of Scarlet Starfire, Babalon, to awaken us to our Authentic Self as we enter the New Aeon……

On the tree of life, Gevurah/Mars is the flaming sword of justice. It reminds us that anger is not an energy we can bypass but must learn how to wield righteously during our human incarnation.

In alchemical process, the conjunction (or coniunctio) is defined as the merging to previously separate elements into union creating a marriage of opposites.

Lady Saturnia in the sign of Aries demands we use our power with integrity. Neptunia invites us to use of feminine, oracular abilities to see the vision of what is to come. Together, they call us to embody the energies of the structure and flow, discipline and devotion as we birth the New Aeon.

Saturnia, as Mother of Matrix, gives physical form to the dreams of Neptunia, and Aries teaches us how to bravely initiate change. To step into leadership of own lives and take action. Floating around in the astral realms will no longer cut it, wallowing in the past is no longer an option.

Aries is the sign of Self Identity. She teaches us we must know who we are, and what we are passionate about. We must be strong enough and self-focussed enough to choose to build the reality we wish to see for future generations.

Saturnia in Aries gives us the gift of endurance. There is no obstacle we cannot overcome.

There is no waiting, no holding back anymore. Aries says you have one life to live. How will you spend it? Use your feelings of helplessness as fuel for the fires of purification. Let your rage be a catalyst for change.

You have chosen to incarnate at this time. Not to hide away, not stay quiet but to actively play a part in this time of transition.

Aries, as the first sign, teaches us that birthing is often a painful, bloody process. The seed has to crack open in order to sprout. You are the portal through which the New Aeon is being brough into being.

We are here to be the change, and Aries is leading the charge. Hear Her battle cry, echoing through the Aeons……..

Arise, daughters of the Dragon!

We all have the Aries Goddess energies within us, as we all have a Mars placement in our natal charts! In the Silver Spiral, She is the first Archetype we meet as we begin our journey of knowing ourselves and understanding our Priestess purpose.

We begin again in person on the 21st of March and online on the 28th, as Aries season begins!

We will be working deeply to invoke this archetype in our Reclaiming the Red Goddess workshop for the Great Conjunction on the 21st of February. If you are feeling the call to reignite your passion and seed your vision for the New Aeon, come and join us for astrological discussion and ritual.
